Francis Mason AKA Golden Abelia is a semi-dwarf, semi-evergreen to deciduous, naturally rounded shrub with bright yellow and green variegated foliage. Blooms are white tinged pink. New growth of Francis Mason emerges an orange to coppery color and matures to a sunny yellow to gold and green. Grows 3-4' tall and 4-5' wide. Grows best in full sun but can take part shade. Flowers late spring, summer and fall. Prune in late winter or early spring before new growth begins.
