Mexican Feather Grass requires dry soil and full sun, and it is very drought tolerant. Nassella tenuissima is especially spectacular planted in decorative containers. It is native to the Southwest US, Mexico and Argentina where it inhabits dry areas. The Mexican feather grass can be used in almost any space throughout your landscape. This ornamental grass is a fast grower. You can expect it to reach a height of 12 to 24 inches and spread out to 30 inches.
