Bottlebrush will grow in full sun or part shade. For best flowering provide at least 5 hours of direct sunlight or all-day lightly filtered sun. Morning shade with afternoon sun or morning sun with afternoon shade is okay. Bottlebrush is a small, usually shrubby tree, normally getting only 10 to 15 feet tall.
