Windmill palm trees prefer a semi-shade or shady location but will tolerate full sun in more northern climates. Height at maturity is most commonly around 25 ft. in our region, up to 40 ft . Growth rate is moderate to somewhat fast with good care. In it's early growth, it can grow one to 2 ft. a year.
